  • TCS Nationals Tournament in Myrtle Beach,  SC
TCS Nationals Highlights:

Slammers vs HCYB Raiders
Score 3-3, bottom of the 7th.
I remember deciding which bat to use, either the XL1 or XL3. I ended up switching to the XL3.
The batter before me struck out looking.
Aidan was at 2nd base, Craig at 3rd, with 1 out.
The only way to score Craig was to hit the ball hard in the outfield. It was a curve ball, I stayed back, and hit a line drive over 1st baseman's head. Walk off!!! We won the game: 4-3

Semi Game against Rock Solid.
The pitcher was huge, probably 5'7", pitching 80mph.
Score: 5-2, up by 3 runs.
Rock Solid had bases loaded.
Outside pitch, grand slam that hit the scoreboard. Score: 6-5, Rock Solid.

Top of the 7th,
I was up to bat, Outside pitch, "Blue, was that on the corner, I asked?" Yes!
Breaking Ball, 1 - 1.
Fastball, line drive right center. Double!!! I remember the umpire saying, nice hit, so stoked, I motioned the bow and arrow to the dugout batter.
Score: 6-6.
Ethan's up, hit a single and scored Cody from 3rd.
Score 7-6

Rock Solid, bottom of the 7th.
1st at bat, single
2nd at bat, High chopper to Cameron at Shortstop, Double play, 2 outs.
3rd at bat, triple
4th at bat, walk
5th at bat, walk
Erik, our pitcher ended up walking 2 players to make it bases loaded.
6th at bat, Rock Solid's next batter, you guessed it. The player that hit the grand slam.
He ended up hitting a foul ball popup over 3rd base line. I ran as hard as I could to make the catch.
Caught the ball 4' from the fence. We won! 7-6.
We made it into the CHAMPIONSHIPS!!

The water bucket was poured over the top of my head, what a fun game!
